Cynthia Robbins MD, MS, FAAP
Adolescent medicine physician and pediatrician committed to collaborative eating disorder care.
Cynthia Robbins, MD, MS, FAAP, is a dually board-certified adolescent medicine physician and pediatrician.
Dr. Robbins earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her pediatrics residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in adolescent medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
She practiced in Indianapolis for the first 12 years of her career before moving to Maine. She is now an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Robbins provides primary care and adolescent specialty care for young people ages 10 to 26 at the South Portland Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to supporting patients with eating disorders.
She leads the clinic’s multidisciplinary eating disorder program and is highly involved in programming for patients admitted to MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital for eating disorder care.
