Get Involved
Creating a Maine where everyone affected by an eating disorder can access understanding, resources, and support takes a community.
The Eating Disorders Association of Maine is a volunteer-led nonprofit supported by members, donors, community partners, and people who believe in our mission. Your involvement helps us provide education, connect people with resources, support eating disorder prevention, and advocate for stronger services throughout Maine.
There are several ways to support EDAM and help move this work forward.
Become an EDAM Member
EDAM membership brings together professionals, organizations, students, advocates, and community members who are committed to improving eating disorder awareness, prevention, and support in Maine.
Your membership helps sustain our educational programs, community resources, professional trainings, advocacy efforts, and annual events.
Volunteer With EDAM
EDAM is powered by volunteers who share their time, skills, and commitment to supporting people affected by eating disorders.
Volunteer opportunities may include helping with events, community outreach, educational resources, fundraising, communications, administrative projects, and other initiatives that support our mission. Opportunities vary throughout the year based on the organization’s current needs and capacity.
