Jonathan Fanburg, MD, MPH provides medical management and team-based coordinated care for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders. He works collaboratively with nutritionists, counselors, and local primary care providers to support patients across Maine, including through telehealth when coordinated with local medical monitoring.

Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder.

Medical management for patients with eating disorders, with a team-based approach that may include collaboration with community-based nutritionists and counselors.
Training and Experience
Director of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Maine Medical Center. Dr. Fanburg has practiced adolescent medicine in Maine for over 20 years. He trained at Vanderbilt Medical School, completed residency at Denver Children’s Hospital, and completed fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center.
