This keynote will explore the cultural and clinical implications of GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP medications for eating disorder treatment and body image care.
Learning objectives include:
- Compare weight-centric and weight-inclusive paradigms.
- Identify current GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP co-agonist medications and how they are being used.
- Explore ways a weight-inclusive approach can support body image, reduce eating disorder risk, and strengthen recovery.
