New Roots Healing Center is a multidisciplinary outpatient group practice providing weight-inclusive nutrition counseling, therapy, medical care, and psychiatric services for individuals of all ages who are struggling with their relationship with food and body. Their team includes dietitians, therapists, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner who provide collaborative care using a HAES-aligned, non-diet, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming approach.

Services Offered

Individual therapy, group therapy, nutrition counseling, medical care, psychiatric care, medication management, family-based treatment, support groups, and professional training and education.

Services are available through a hybrid model, with both in-person and virtual appointments.

Who They Work With

Children, adolescents, young adults, adults, older adults, families, and caregivers. New Roots Healing Center provides LGBTQIA+-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, pediatric, adolescent, and family-centered care.

Conditions and Concerns Supported

Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, disordered eating, body image concerns, chronic dieting, intuitive eating, diabetes, chronic illness, PMOS, endometriosis, and MCAS.

Approach to Care

Weight-inclusive, HAES-aligned, non-diet, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+-affirming, collaborative, and individualized.

Insurance and Payment

New Roots Healing Center accepts Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Community Health Options.

Private-pay options are also available. HSA and FSA payments are accepted, and superbills may be provided for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
